TITLE 9. PUBLIC PEACE, MORALS AND WELFARETITLE 9. PUBLIC PEACE, MORALS AND WELFARE\Chapter 9.08 Offenses By Or Against Public Officers And Government

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to tack, nail, paste, paint or attach in any manner any sign, placard, lettering, symbol or design of any nature or kind, or cause the same to be done, upon any electric light or telephone pole, or upon any crossing, bridge, culvert or other property owned by the city, within the corporate limits of the city.

Section 9.08.010 shall not be construed to apply to or prohibit any highway signs or markings heretofore placed, or hereafter to be placed by the city upon any such electric light or telephone poles.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of Section 9.08.010 of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not less than $50, nor more than $500, plus court costs.
