It is unlawful for any person to drive, cause to be driven or permit to be driven, any automobile, truck or other vehicle over, across or upon any curb within the corporate limits of the city, or over, across or upon any of the sidewalks therein, except in places where a driveway has been constructed through the curb and gutter to such sidewalk.
