The city is authorized to become a member of the Kansas Municipal Energy Agency, in accordance with KSA 12-8,108.

The city clerk is authorized and directed to deliver a copy of the ordinance codified in this chapter to the Agency, which ordinance shall serve as a request to the governing body of each of the existing member cities to adopt a resolution consenting to such membership of the city in the Agency.
